Tanzania Night 1 - Praise Released Healing

I’m excited to tell you that we made it to Africa. After 6 flights over 3 days, a 4-hour drive, and getting a total of 2 hours of sleep the last two nights, we did arrive safely into Tanzania. Unfortunately, after all that none of our bags made it, and Delta Airlines has thus far been unable to locate neither Harmonee, Elisha, or my suitcases. We’d very much appreciate your prayers for this to be resolved quickly…mostly because I’m on my last pair of socks.

With all of that said, we arrived just an hour before the crusade, and I can honestly say in our weakness He was made strong! (2 Corinthians 12:9) We pulled up to an open dusty field where thousands of people gathered and I’m so glad they all came!

I preached a clear Gospel message and the response was fantastic! Many flooded forward to receive Jesus! After leading them in a prayer for salvation and a time of worship, I felt a strong sense of urgency from the Holy Spirit to begin breaking curses 1 by 1. I called our ministry team forward and we began to pray for each curse to be broken in the name of Jesus!

This moment was so powerful, and what happened next was astounding. The crowd began spontaneously breaking out in a shout of the name Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Over and over again, they shouted Jesus! For a few minutes it’s all we could do!

Typically in crusades, after preaching the Gospel, I will then begin to pray for the sick. However, for the first time in my 6 ½ years of traveling the nations we did not pray for the sick. I heard the Holy Spirit tell me that they were healed while they were shouting the name of Jesus! Their praise literally released healing from heaven!

I asked the people to check their bodies as a sign of faith and that they would discover that they were instantly healed. As they did there were shouts across the field! People began to realize that their infirmities had left! Hallelujah! All Glory to God!

We heard several testimonies including:

  • A man who had injured his hand a week ago received full mobility without pain. I gave him a big high five and he was smiling as he realized Jesus had touched him not just a little bit, but all the way!

  • An elderly woman had been unable to lift her hands past her shoulders. But during the breaking of the curses she felt a strong presence of God and tried to lift her hands. As she did, she realized she was completely healed and was rotating her shoulders all around while dancing around the platform.

  • A man had severe back pain for two years. While we were breaking the curses, he felt a warmth in his body and he tried to move before realizing he had no pain at all!

  • A younger lady had severe breathing issues. She’d often lock herself in her room feeling unable to breathe and hoping all the fear would go away. The preace of the Lord touched her heart and she took a deep breath. She did this several times before realizing she was getting complete breaths. She was in shock and very emotional! Thank you Jesus!

  • And much more!

We will continue marching forward tomorrow with our Pastor’s conference and next night of the crusade. Please continue to pray for us to recover from our lack of sleep and tumultuous travel experience. We need some quick recovery as there is no time to rest and wait.

ONWARD in JESUS NAME!
